29日がない２月

This month has no 29th!
but...its my friend Kattie's birthday, she has only one birthday in 4 years....かわいそう！
Chinese calendar is very precise as every 15th of the chinese calendar, it must be the full moon.
but then during the 15th of August, its the biggest full moon during the while year.

Western people use the more easier calendar just for looking at the day and date. Chinese people use the calendar not only for day and date, but also use it as prediction of what they should do or not to do.
for example, the chinese calendar also indicating the day of raining, the coldest or hottest day of the year, so people follow the instruction of the calendar and avoid a lot of unnecessary disaster, on the other hand, create more successful cases.

Therefore I have downloaded the Lunar Calendar App to my iPhone and try to follow what its indicated on the day.

Baby Lion

60kgに達したラマちゃんは小さいなライオンみたい。いま１０か月けど、十分に成長になったら、多分７０kgぐらいかもしれない。濃い毛が厚くて長い、いつも暑そうに舌を出して、口いっぱいのようにつばが滴りとなって落ちてる。１８度の気温でもクーラーをつけないなら、がっかりした。

ちょっと、複雑かな。

今日は元霄節だった。
今世紀中で一番大きくて丸い月が香港から見えるそうだ。
それに、同じの晩も月食がみえる。星空の写真を撮ることが大好きな人はみんな山に登って月食の写真を撮る。
だけど、中国の風水学によると、月食の気象はあまり良くないことだ。
ちょうど今年の一月とき、日食も香港から見えた。日食と月食も同じ年が見えて、悪いことだそうだ。何か悪いことが起ると思われている。そういえば、今年は香港に住んでる人も大変でしょう？
今もう大変なんだけど、困難に立ち向かわないといけないの。
多分、みんなこのような思いを持ってるので、今日の元霄花燈祭りはこれまでで最も多い人が参加して、新記録になった。

今年の花燈はとてもきれいだった。前よりも大きいし、色も、様式もすばらしかった。
ところで、元霄節といえば毎年旧正月の十五日だから、つまり中国のバレンタインデーということだ。昔、結婚したい女の子はこの日に好きな男を探して、花燈の中に難しい問題を残した。そして、花燈の持ち主の女はこの花燈の中の問題に正しく答えた男と結婚できると言われている。
